Adoption Fees:

$185 for Dogs/Puppies
($50 portion of fee refunded when animal is spayed/neutered)
$95 for Cats/Kittens
($40 portion of fee refunded when animal is spayed/neutered)

The adoption fee goes towards the care of the animals, and does not come close to helping us recover those costs. Every animal is vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and micro-chipped. 30 Days FREE Pet Insurance is also included. If the animal is not yet fixed before adopted, there is a spay/neuter deposit included in the adoption fee which is reimbursed once we are provided with proof of spay/neuter. For cats it is a $40 refund, and for dogs it is $50. (Of course, if the animal is fixed before adoption, we will have already spent this money towards their surgery, and it can not, therefore, be refunded.) Please remember that most animals are at the shelter for many weeks before they find forever homes. The cost of food, vet care, warmth or cooling, staffing, laundry, etc. can add up in the time they are with us. The adoption fee contributes to only a small portion of those everyday costs. We feed Royal Canin quality foods, to give our shelter animals the best possible start in their new lives! We suggests that adopters purchase a small bag of the food their adopted pet is currently eating. This will start you with food at home, should you continue to feed Royal Canin, or will provide you with a small amount of food to slowly transition your new pet to a different food, without upsetting tummies or bowels.
