Thank you to everyone who came out to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Miners Memorial last weekend. Mines Memorial recognises those who died in Cumberland's dangerous mines, and those who have fought and continue to fight to improve workers' rights.

Our last event is a Local History Canoe Tour today at Comox Lake.

We want to share our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported this special event, particularly our major sponsors Comox Valley Regional District - Local Government, First Credit Union, BCGEU, CUPE BC, and CRCD Labour Council

Thank you 🌹

We express our deepest appreciation to all who have contributed to and continue to support the preservation of Cumberland's history.

The dedication of past and present individuals has been instrumental. The 40th anniversary celebration of Miners Memorial has been truly remarkable.

Join us tomorrow at 11 am at the museum for a guided tour with Dawn Copeman, exploring untold stories of labour history in Cumberland. The museum is open 11-4. In solidarity.
