PGK Charles and Lady Jo-Anne Maheu presented with our "Family of the Year " award. This was for the many things they do for our council, and community such as the Rockland Parade of Lights towing our float and supplying candies for the kids.

Worthy Warden/Fundraising Director Robert Proulx with our " 2025 Knight of the Year" award. Robert is responsible for the amazing success of our bean suppers which have been a great fundraiser for our council.

The Christmas Parade of Lights was a resounding success. This year the float was towed by brother Charlie Maheu. His wife Lady Jo-anne assisted with purchasing of candy for distribution to the children along the route.

Brother Pat Callaghan was the only member who arrived to assist with distributing the candy. So Brother Charlie, walked the entire route with Pat, while Jo-Anne drove the pickup towing the float.

A light snow was falling, which contributed to the festive atmosphere. It was a fun event and again our Council's float was the only one representing the real reason for the season.

I attached a few pictures to share with the Council.

I want to thank Brothers Charlie and Pat for their dedication to this yearly event.

The final 2025 raffle for the Knights of Columbus 50/50 draw is here. Tickets will be sold from now until December 30th when the grand draw will take place. Also, on October 5th, there will be an early bird draw of $500.

Tickets can be purchased on-line and support Homeless Shelters and Coats For Kids. A portion of the proceeds from tickets sold by Council 13049 are used for initiatives in our community. Use this link or the QR code to purchase tickets and support Council 13049.
