One of the most common questions people have before entering the trades is a simple one: what can I expect to earn?

The answer might surprise you. Most apprentices in BC receive a wage during their practical training from day one. According to Trades Training BC, within two years of completing an apprenticeship program, most graduates are earning $34 per hour and 94% are employed, almost all on a full-time basis.

That means no waiting years to enter the workforce, and no starting from the bottom. Your earning potential grows alongside your skills and experience.

If you're considering a career in the skilled trades, explore trade programs available in BC at tradestrainingbc.ca or skilledtradesbc.ca
