PAWS - Creston Pet Adoption & Welfare Society Pets that have been lost, found, or are looking for a new forever home will be posted on both the PAWS FB page and website.

PAWS is a volunteer-based no-kill shelter in the Creston Valley dedicated to 1) finding loving homes for abandoned, rescued, surrendered, and abused pets and 2) educating the public through community outreach. We provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, socialization, and spaying or neutering as required. Community outreach is achieved through education, re-homing assistance, and reuniting lost pe

Duke is a 6-year-old neutered Mastiff with a gentle, loyal, affectionate personality. He is great with people, loves to cuddle, and enjoys playtime.

He is naturally protective and would be best suited to a home with a fenced yard and someone familiar with large guardian breeds.

Duke is a beautiful boy who will make a devoted companion in the right home.

Every once in while we have a dog that reminds us of the resilience of animals despite spending sometimes years in heartbreaking circumstances.

GENIE was one such girl. She came to us almost 5 years ago, broken in spirit and terrified of all humans. But with the love and patience of the PAWS dog volunteers, her spirit healed as best it could and one day she knew she was ready to leave the security of PAWS. She bided her time, knowing that out there was a family meant for her.

Not only did that family appear, but she will spend her senior years not only wanted, but with her best friend, RASPUTIN.

We at PAWS can't express how deeply grateful we are that GENIE found and chose Gary and family. And that Gary and family recognized how special she is and welcomed GENIE into their family.
