Community Outreach Therapeutic Horsemanship welcomed a second group from Axis Family Resources today. Beau, Cupcake, and Rhea had a great time hanging out with Christine, Shea, Cooper and Darren! Beau especially enjoyed getting scratched in all of the right spots! Cooper used to ride with us several years ago and he remembered all about how to pick out a hoof!
We had a special guest stop by as well! Moose, a three month old bulldog puppy had his first community outing! He took everything in stride and we think he might come back for more visits in the future!

Our Community Outreach Therapeutic Horsemanship program welcomes folks from Axis Family Services this week!
It was like a reunion as Jeanette, Darren and Nikki used to ride at the Therapeutic Riding Program when they were in high school! It was awesome to spend time with them and JR who is "newer" to Creston.
The horses really enjoyed their time being groomed and pampered. The carrot treats at the end of the session were appreciated!

What a wonderful day for a Dressage Show! It was such a pleasure to watch horses and riders perform dressage tests for the judge!

Thanks to our hard-working volunteer team we were able to give away $15,000 to 17 local non-profits at our luncheon on April 13th.

The mud stops here!
Thank you so much to the BC Therapeutic Riding Association's Operational Funding and RDCK Area B Director Roger Tierney's Discretionary Grant, our horses are not up to their knees in mud!
The grant funds were spent on Mud Control Grids by Hahn Plastics and they are making a huge difference!
