D-DAY JUNE 6, 1944
14,000 young Canadians stormed Juno Beach in Normandy France. Dispite heavily fortified German positions, the Canadian Infantry Division advanced further inland than any other allied force that day. 359 were killed in action, 547 wounded and 47 taken prisoners.

Thank you to Pastor Gordon Henry, Sgt at Arms Roy Ruiters, veterans and Legion members for honouring the courage and sacrifice on this day in 1944.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, non the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them 🇨🇦
