Let's talk dogs over snacks!

I'm hosting another one of my casual little get togethers at Sprout Health Market in Marysville where you can come hang out, enjoy some complimentary charcuterie, ask your dog questions, and hopefully leave with a few things that will make life with your dog easier.

We'll be talking about things like:
🐕 Social skills
🦮 Leash reactivity
🐾 Dog-dog aggression
🏡 Territorial barking

And because I know that dog questions rarely stay neatly inside those four categories... bring your questions.

This is a chance to chat with a professional, get some perspective on what's happening with your dog, and have a relaxed evening with other dog people.

Best part about it? It's by donation, and the event is raising funds for Kate's Community Cat Care Fund to help provide spay/neuter support for stray cats. ❤️

So come for the dogs.
Stay for the charcuterie.

Meet Ivy - She came into care as part of a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) project. She was still very young, there wasn’t a safe place to return her to, and although she wanted absolutely nothing to do with being touched, we felt she had a good chance of adjusting to indoor life.

With patience, treats, confident cat friends and some extra support, Ivy slowly started coming out of her shell.

A huge thank you to serenity bow wow for donating a calming C*D product, which really helped with her transition indoors, and to the kind lady who safely captured her and looked out for her wellbeing. ❤️

Ivy was later transferred to Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue for adoption and the gentleman who had been feeding her for months ended up adopting her.

She still has a little “spice” to her, but after one escape and choosing to come back home, we think she knows indoor life (with catio access!) is a much better deal. Most importantly, she knows she’s safe and very loved in her new home.

This is Allspice. When she first came into care, she was believed to be feral, so the plan was to have her spayed, provide the veterinary care she needed, and return her once she had recovered.

While she was recovering from surgery, though, her carer realized there was much more to Allspice than we first thought. She was scared and unsure, but she was also beginning to show that she could enjoy human company and had real potential for an indoor home.

Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue kindly took her on, continued working with her, and found her a forever home. ❤️

Kate’s Community Cat Care Fund is mainly focused on helping unowned and feral cats through spay/neuter and essential veterinary care, with the goal of preventing unwanted litters and safely returning cats to their territory when appropriate. But sometimes a cat shows us they may be suited to something different.

We’re so happy Allspice got that chance.

Looking for a barn home for a spicy little female cat, we suspect she is young (possibly under a year old), she has been spayed, vaccinated and treated for parasites. Please reach out if you need a mouser!

This is how fast it happens.

One litter becomes many… very quickly.

And without support, local families and rescues are left trying to manage something that keeps growing.
