Looking for a barn home for a spicy little female cat, we suspect she is young (possibly under a year old), she has been spayed, vaccinated and treated for parasites. Please reach out if you need a mouser!

Bambam's story 🐾

For the past 7 years, Bambam has been roaming the streets of Cranbrook, cared for by kind neighbours who kept him fed and safe as best they could. Over the years, there were many attempts to trap him but he always managed to outsmart them.

Recently, it was noticed that he was limping (much like many of the strays we help), and concern for his wellbeing grew. One very dedicated neighbour was able to borrow a different style of trap that Bambam wasn't familiar with, and finally after all those years he was safely caught.

Bambam was brought into the clinic, where he was neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given parasite prevention, and had his paw injury cared for.

As a truly feral cat, Bambam isn't suited for indoor life. One of the wonderful neighbours who had trapped him stepped up to provide a safe kennel space for a few days while he recovered from surgery. Once ready, he was released back to the place he knows best, where he will continue to be cared for by the people who have been watching out for him all along.

Bambam may not ever be a house cat but he still deserved medical care, relief from pain, and a better quality of life. And now, he can no longer contribute to the cycle of more unwanted litters.

Everyone, meet Nermal Gilbert! 🐾

He had been wandering the streets of Marysville for quite some time, cared for by some wonderful ladies in the community who did everything they could to find an owner, but sadly no one ever came forward.

It was noticed that Nermal was intact and limping with a painful paw injury. Thanks to the kindness of neighbours, he was safely trapped and brought into the clinic. There, he was neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and given a shot of antibiotics to help heal his paw infection.

As a semi-feral cat, Nermal wasn’t suited for indoor life, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve a safe and happy future. He has now been relocated to a wonderful barn home, where he’ll have a warm place to rest, food provided, and other cat friends to keep him company.

This is exactly the kind of impact your donations make possible. Cats like Nermal, often unseen and without an owner, still deserve care, compassion, and a chance at a better life.
