Hello Comox Valley!

We are still in need of a few volunteers for the Spirit Walk tomorrow September 30 in Lewis/Simms Park.

We need some individuals to be Walking Guides (walking with the group, ~1hour) and Barricade Attendants (stand at one of the barricades on the side streets during the walk, ~1). If you are able to help out, sign up using the link below. Feel free to pass the link onto anyone who you think might be interested.

Language is the heartbeat of a culture. Join us to learn the basics of Southern Michif, the traditional language of the Métis Nation. By speaking these words, we honour the ancestors, keep the stories alive, and celebrate a vibrant, living heritage. Whether you are reconnecting with your roots or supporting Michif language revitalization, all are welcome.

We welcome you to join us at 10am on September 30th at Lewis Park in downtown Courtenay.
