❓ COMMUNITY GRANTS FAQ: Which funding stream is right for us?

Not sure where your application fits?

This year’s Community Enrichment Grants offer two streams designed to support different kinds of work:

πŸ πŸ’› Stream 1: Community Needs supports work that directly responds to Housing Stability & Basic Needs or Mental Health & Connection in the Comox Valley.

🌱 Stream 2: Capacity Building supports work that strengthens your organization itself so it can fulfill its mission effectively and sustainably over time.

A simple way to think about it:

Is the primary purpose of the funding to support people and respond to a community need? β†’ Start with Stream 1.

Is the primary purpose to strengthen your organization’s internal capacity? β†’ Start with Stream 2.

Still deciding? We’ve created a simple infographic to help you compare the streams, understand what each one supports, and choose the best fit for your proposed work.
