Fantastic workshop in the Make It Zone parking lot, learning to build the absolute best in simple bench design with Kirsten and Noal of the CV Resilience Project. Seven benches finished in under 2 hours!

Join us on April 26th from 10-3 for our craft supply swap!

We will be accepting donations until April 25th at the front service desk.

When you drop off your donations be sure to pick up one of our Sunday Swap stamp bookmarks! Earn a stamp each time you donate to a Sunday Swap! Completed stamp bookmarks will be entered into a draw at the end of 2026, for a chance to win a prize!

Donations are not required to attend.

Our volunteer Ruby will be doing checkouts at The Shed Tool Library tomorrow from 10am-noon. Ruby has been renovating an adventure van at the Make It Zone for the last months and has tonnes of knowledge of our tools, and ideas on how to use them! Thanks Ruby!

We surpassed a mind-boggling milestone this week. Since instituting library software in 2018, your local volunteer-run Tool Library Co-op has completed 5000 tool loans to our members. That's a lot of building, making and fixing! Thank you to our members and volunteers. It's landmarks like this that make all the effort SO worth it.

We could use your help!

Our volunteer Board Members typically lend 2-4 hours a month overseeing our operations, bringing their particular skills and interests to keep us going. We help our volunteers to keep the doors open, organize and maintain our tool library and space, promote the Co-op, program workshops and events, and generally look for ways to extend our operations.

A few wish-list skills that would be a huge benefit to us include:
-- Shop management and tool maintenance
-- Community outreach: info tables, pamphlet distribution, liaising with like-minded organisations
-- Fundraising ideas
-- Any great new ideas!

Our members often ask us how they can continue to support THE SHED TOOL LIBRARY once their reno/repair project is done. Simple: renew your user fee! If you have used us in the past and want to help us fulfill our mission to share tools at the cheapest possible cost throughout the Comox Valley, please consider dropping by and renewing.

To sweeten the deal, the incredible Blue Heron Books in Comox has gifted us twelve $25 gift certificates. We will give these out to the first 12 members who renew their user fee for another year.
