So we're in the midst of planning for the "Practice Makes Perfect" event June 27-28.

There will definitely be jumping on the grass (maybe with an optional cross country jump option!) however . . .

we need to know if there's any interest in setting up the show arena for riders to practice Hunter rounds.

Please leave us a message here or email us at [email protected] and let us know if you'd sign up for Hunter round practice by June 22.

If there is no interest, we will simply proceed to set up just a Jumper course on the grass.

Thank you to all the riders and coaches that helped make our show so successful!

A HUGE thank you to all the incredible volunteers that showed up to make the set-up and tear-down so fast. We know at the end of the weekend, everyone just wants to go home and relax (including us!) so we really appreciate you showing up.

Lastly, thank you to all the Mothers who gave up any Mothers Day celebration that was planned to shine boots, brush ponies and give encouragement to all the riders. Way to show the love moms!

With the show weekend almost here, we wanted to share this notice about entering classes.

While this fee has always been in our program under "Show Information" we have not enforced it. This year, to reduce confusion at the in-gate and to our judges, we will be applying it.

Massive "thank you" to BROWN's RIVER HOLDINGS and VAL CHRISTIE!

In addition to consistently being a Gold level sponsor for our shows, Brown's River has provided us with new tires for our pole trailer and our local superhero Val Christie donated his own time to put them on!

For us, that's like winning the lottery because without tires, we have no way to get the poles to the show arena to build jumps. No jumps = no shows. So, the next time you're cruising over jumps in the arena, remember how they got there!

Happy May 1st everyone!

NVIHA is busy getting everything ready for our May 9-10 H/J show.

We still need volunteers for the following:

SET-UP - help is needed to help set the show ring up on Thursday. Remember, no set-up, no jumps, no show! This is a great way to learn course building for free.

TEAR-DOWN - help is needed to dismantle the Hunter course and load the poles and jump standards onto the trailer on Sunday evening. Bonus points for anyone with Tetris skills.

We also need a jump-crew person for Saturday from 8am to approx 4pm. This is a PAID position with lunch provided. Responsibilities include helping re-set the jumps to different heights, and replacing jump poles/standards when they get knocked down.
