Looking for work or exploring new career options? WorkBC Centre Courtenay is offering free weekly jobseeker workshops this fall, each running two hours, designed to build essential skills for career planning, job searching and interviewing. Whether you are entering the workforce, changing careers or looking to sharpen your professional tools, this series offers practical guidance to help you succeed.
If you are job searching, these workshops will help you get ready for the WorkBC Centre Career Fair on October 21 at the Florence Filberg Centre, where jobseekers can meet and apply with over 25 local employers, all in one room.
Each workshop covers a key aspect of your job search, including career assessment, career exploration and the local labour market; networking while job searching; how to navigate your job search; crafting compelling resumes and cover letters; interview preparedness; and internet and Gmail skills.
Led by experienced career professionals, these interactive sessions provide hands-on support, personalized feedback and resources to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
These free workshops are open to everyone, with priority given to WorkBC clients. Registration is required.
