SANTA'S WORKSHOP would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the Comox Valley community for another successful 2025 Christmas season. During that time, 604 children from 267 families received gifts, 17 grandparents also 'shopped' for 50 grandchildren and approximately 220 refurbished bikes were given out.
Special thanks to the great team of local businesses, individuals, service clubs and the Record newspaper for your assistance - the workshop is very grateful to all you have done to assist in ensuring that those 604 children in need received Christmas gifts. Thanks also to Ashcroft & Associates for your donation and your kind on-going support throughout the year, and to Courtenay Canadian Tire, Cumberland Toy Drive, Royal Cdn Legion Br. #160, Comox Firefighters Association, Emterra, Courtenay Family Chiropractic, Trail Bicycles, Cross Canada Cycle Tour Society, ICBC, Andres Electronics, Comox Valley Lions Club-Bingo Gaming, Wayne Heise, Janice Wilson, Patricia Mobley, Valmon A. Vaillant, Dale Dekowny, Dennis Aitken, Dawn Kelly and to all the locations that took our 'gift drop boxes'.
The "Elves" at the workshop are never to be forgotten, for without them, this organization would not be possible. To help make this season happen successfully, there was a total of 3790 volunteer hours put in by Santa's Elves". There are so many elves who have returned back to the workshop year after year and they are all to be commended for their hard work and ongoing dedication.
For an organization such as Santa's Workshop to be successful, it takes a team - from many walks of the community. So thank you again to everyone for your team spirit and for all working together. Comox Valley children enjoyed a happier Christmas because of all your individual assistance, which together is called "teamwork".....Yay "Team Comox Valley"!!
