Welcome to Favors for the Frontline Comox Valley (FFTF CV) and thank you for your time! These past 2 years have been a challenge for us all due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is especially true for our healthcare workers and we would like your help in recognizing their courage and exceptional care. We are looking to say thank you through donations, gift certificates, discounts, video messages etc.
Anything to show that our community values our frontline workers. These favors are specifically for employees of CVH, with a focus on nursing. This group was started by nurse and nurse leaders who need your help to thank our healthcare workers at CVH. At this time this initiative will run from January 2022 to the summer 2022. THIS IS NOT A ISLAND HEALTH INITIATIVE

One of our FFTF CV volunteers will pick up whatever donation you would like to provide. We will be promoting any business or association on our Facebook site and on 98.9 JET FM. We encourage those who donate or contribute to post a thank you photo or video on our Facebook site. Rules and Regulations:
Anything that shows your appreciation will be graciously received as a donation. If you or your business has an idea to show your appreciation that is not traditional please contact us and we will try to make it happen. There will be 2 draws a month done for prizes available to all frontline workers. Staff must be on shift to enter, staff can only win one prize every year. To maintain transparency a third party will be witness to the draw as well as every attempt will be made to post a video or photo of the Frontliner who won the prize. Discounts at business will only be recognized with a current CVH photo ID. Cash or cheque donation will be made out to Wendy Gibson (In patient Manager) all of the money will be divided equally between all Managers and/or Clinical Coordinators to assure equal division, unless a donor has specified donation to a specific unit. We are not a charity therefore we have not tax receipts to provide
