We will be in Alberta in the first week of August and have a grand adventure planned! I have a dream team of kayak legends backing us up all week.

Aqua Bound paddles is SiP’s newest supporters and friends! We are so stoked!! I got to try out my new Aerial Major carbon fibre paddle with Apuzunga rafting in Metapan El Salvador! Our participants will be using the Fiberglass Aerial Minors on all of our courses. Thank you to Susie and the whole Aqua Bound team for believing in what we are trying to do!

Sunday we had a fantastic day at Lake Ilopango with the amazing support of the municipality of Ilopango. Many got to try kayaking and enjoy the beauty of the area.
Paddlers came from the wheelchair basketball team of SAN Salvador! So great to meet each and everyone of you and I look forward to coming back to El Salvador and paddle with you again!

I can’t thank Hector and the whole team of Social Inclusion, under the direction of Jose Maria Chicas, the Mayor of Ilopango. It’s a great team doing fantastic work to include individuals with disabilities in all aspects of society. I can’t thank you all enough for your support and positive energy. I hope to see and work with you all again soon.

El domingo nosotros teníamos un día increíble en El Lago de Ilopango con el apoyo del Alcaldía de Ilopango. Muchas personas con discapacidades aprovecharon la oportunidad a remar y disfrutar los recursos naturales de su país. Se fue un gran placer a conocer el equipo de baloncesto de El Salvador y a conocer cada una(o) de ustedes campeones! Yo espero el día cuando yo puedo volver hasta El Salvador y remar y charlar con ustedes de nuevo!

Muchísimas gracias a Héctor, su equipo de Inclusión Social y alcalde de Ilopango, el Señor Jose Chicas. Ustedes están haciendo super buen trabajo para incluir personas con discapacidades en todos los sectores de sociedad. Les felicito y admiro mucho! A long day of driving, pothole dodging, border crossings, immigration stamping and customs schmoozing has brought me back to El Salvador. Next stop with be Guatemala for meetings with expedition partners, possible Central America wide funders and rehabilitation centers administrators to try to grow the base of support for our programs. Then rinse and repeat in El Salvador and Honduras.

Programs are slower to get started then I had hoped but I am meeting the right people now and feel a huge welling up of momentum.

So stoked to be back in El Salvador. I love this country!!

Well she is all packed and ready for adventures!

SiP Global Adventures has expeditions planned for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica this winter. I could not be more excited!

First the final install of the camper’s water filtration system in Vancouver and then we turn south! So many adventures to come.

It’s happening! I’ll tell you very soon about an exciting new sponsor of our organization! There are so many good things starting to happen!

Last Tuesday while driving north from LA I had a catastrophic engine failure in the SiPMobile. Something from the road punctured my oil pan and it resulted in the engine seizing before I knew what happened.

The search for a low mile replacement engine began and today the engine arrived as advertised! The engine swap process begins to revive the SiPMobile and get us back on the road!

Programs in Guatemala and Costa Rica will
Happen this winter, just have to see when still.

I got so lucky being towed to Martin’s Garage as they’ve let me camp in the parking lot and have treated me royally.

Updates to follow as the engine swap progresses and I get back on the road. Thank you to all who have offered help and support. It’s hugely appreciated.
