The Comox Valley Neighbourhood Welcome Program connects newcomers with local businesses, services, and community organizations that help make Comox Valley feel like home.
We’re looking for local photographers and photography businesses that want to be part of something bigger than advertising.

As a Neighbourhood Welcome Photography Partner, you can:

🌿 Featured Cheese at Feast of Fields: Mt. Becher 🧀

We were so proud to feature our Mt. Becher Water Buffalo Washed Rind at Feast of Fields Vancouver Island! Feast of Fields

Made right here in the Comox Valley with Vancouver Island water buffalo milk, Mt. Becher is naturally made with grass fed milk containing A2 beta-casein protein and has a flavour profile reminiscent of Manchego — savoury, nutty and complex, with toasted notes, a bright tang and that distinctive malty texture.

It was the perfect cheese to share at a celebration of the incredible farmers, growers, chefs and food producers of Vancouver Island.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a taste — we loved sharing Mt. Becher with you! 💛

New Community Partnership Spotlight 📸

Open Door Language and Culture Society!!

🌎 Meet one of the wonderful organizations helping make the Comox Valley a more welcoming and multicultural community!
This society is all about bringing people together, celebrating diversity, and creating a sense of belonging. 💛

Their nonprofit welcomes people from all over the world into a safe, friendly, and supportive space. Through language classes, newcomers to Canada can build confidence communicating with neighbours, coworkers, and friends. Their Open Door heritage clubs also help preserve and celebrate non-English languages and cultural traditions. 🗣️🌍

From cultural celebrations to social gatherings, they create opportunities for people to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the many cultures that make our community so special. 🤝✨

We’re proud to introduce an organization that truly believes in open doors, meaningful connections, and a community where everyone feels welcome.
