Today, the school celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day, so the kitchen put on a salmon burger lunch, made from scratch by Ms. Masako! 💪 We are humbled by the generosity of the community— Comox Valley Food Bank Society for setting up all the gluten, for the school’s ISW, Ms. Holly, for chipping in with the chips, and for Tara Webb and family for supplying the wild caught salmon ! ❤️ The entire school then had a picnic lunch outside!

Some big news in the lunch program! We've officially served over 22,000 lunches this year! As you can see in the graph, the average number of lunches served daily has nearly doubled since 2023. Thank you for your support! And thanks to Ms. Masako for a lot of hard work!

Today’s lunch: Mmmmmmuffins! The kids were served carrot spice, chocolate-zucchini, and lemon muffins, with Caesar salad and watermelon on the side. There were also some spinach-feta muffins for the more adventurous kids!
