The biggest service project of our year is approaching!

Our goals:
🍂 pack the park with families, friends, and neighbours having a great time at little to no cost to them!
🍂 bring people to Cottam to experience our businesses, service groups & small town charm
🍂 give our Cottam businesses a chance to shine!
🍂 use our platform to help local groups showcase the amazing things they are doing as well as fundraise & raise awareness

🥁 Parade down County Rd 34 at 12:00
🤼 Wrestling show at 2:30

🌮 food trucks & beer from Brookston Oaks Taproom & Mercantile on site
🏰 FREE bouncy castles & inflatables all day sponsored by Gosfield
🐎 Horse Show in the morning, pony rides 1:00-4:00 from Sarah Parks Horsemanship

🎨 crafts & activities all day
🐷 petting zoo all day
🐥 bird show & bunny races by local 4H clubs (time TBA)
🥣 chili cook off at 12:00 until sold out

ATTN: BUSINESS OWNERS 🍂 looking to make a contribution to a community event and have your donation go a long way? We are seeking SPONSORS for our 62ND ANNUAL COTTAM ROTARY FALL FAIR ✨

If you don’t already know: this event is FREE to attend and all of the activities are FREE for the community to participate in. It features live entertainment, train rides, pony rides, a parade, market, fundraiser bbq, horseshoe tournament and SO MUCH MORE! We see about 5000 people annually and that number continues to grow- with your help of course!

We have sponsorship packages starting as low as $30 and we are so grateful for those who choose to advertise with us every year- because of your contributions we can continue with this incredible service project annually 🫶

Our FALL FAIR PROGRAM BOOK is filling up but there is still time and a little space to get your ad in. DM us for info on how you can participate ✨ ad books begin circulating August 1 & reach many people all over Windsor Essex. Packages include social media coverage leading up to the event to help you reach a wider audience 🍂

Submissions are due May 1 for our Fall Fair Book cover contest! There is still time to make sure we have yours- DM us to make arrangements to submit in person!

CALLING ALL YOUNG ARTISTS 🎨👩‍🎨 we need your help!

Each year, we publish a Program & Ad book ahead of the COTTAM ROTARY FALL FAIR to help us showcase all that Cottam has to offer as well as help fundraise for the event. This year, we want you to leave your mark!

We are accepting submissions for our first ever ✨PROGRAM COVER CONTEST✨ open to students from JK to Grade 12!

Here’s what we are looking for:
🍂 Designs that are full of colour (even the background!), and really fit the community theme of our Cottam Rotary Fall Fair!
🍂 Designs MUST be hand drawn- though you have full creative license over what you draw!
🍂 Designs MUST include the title: 62ND ANNUAL COTTAM ROTARY FALL FAIR - we will add some info- like the date, time, any sponsors and our Cottam Rotary Logo
🍂 Submissions must be submitted on 8.5 c 11 standard white paper, portrait orientation
🍂 Include your first & last name, age, guardian’s name & contact information on the back of your submission or included in your envelope

It’s Superhero Day! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

April 28th isn’t just another day, it’s a full-on celebration of superheroes, both the ones in comic books and the ones walking among us!

Sure, when you hear "superhero," you might picture someone in bright tights and a cape (maybe even underwear on the outside, we’re not judging). But real superheroes come in all forms: they wear police badges, nurse uniforms, Rotary pins, or maybe just a big, kind smile.

Superhero Day reminds us that true heroism isn’t about flying or laser eyes, it’s about heart. It’s the courage to step up when someone needs help: feeding the hungry, comforting a stranger, changing a flat tyre on a lonely road.

Today (and every day), let’s keep our eyes open for moments where we can be the hero someone’s hoping for. Don’t wait for "someone" else to do it, be the someone!

COTTAM, can you help?! We are partnered again with the Rotary Club of Kingsville Southshore to clean up Kingsville & Cottam!

Meet at Ridgeview Park at the Gosfield Communications Community Centre April 25 for 10, pick up gloves & garbage bags and we will clean up the town!

Volunteer hours can be given for high school students!
