A little more magic left the world today.

Today, Girl Scouts everywhere are saying goodbye to one of our own, Dolly Parton. She understood something we know so well in Girl Scouting: that when a girl is encouraged to dream, given the confidence to try, and surrounded by people who believe in her, she can change the world. Dolly spent her life doing exactly that. She lifted others up, opened doors, gave back, and reminded us that you can be wonderfully yourself while making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing us what it looks like to dream bigger, love bigger, and give bigger.

Wow!!! What can we say??? THANK YOU to Kingsville Rodeo, Adam and Sydney for having 2nd Cottam Scouting back! We loved being a part of the volunteer scene with everyone else involved. It truly is remarkable how a community comes together to pull an event like this off. Thank you to all volunteers who step up!!! It was great to see everyone who stopped by our booth for refreshments! Thank YOU for your support!!!!
We hope to see all of you again next year!!!

Happy Canada Day from all of us at 2nd Cottam Scouting!!!!! We think Canada is an amazing place with so much to offer and explore. Take care wherever you go and leave it better than how you found it! Have a GREAT summer and remember to "Leave No Trace!"
