Madagascar School Project

Madagascar School Project Madagascar School Project (MSP) is a registered Canadian charity, created in 2008, to provide education and relieve poverty in rural Madagascar.

Ambatoharanana and Ambohiborosy are located an hour from Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital city. Madagascar, a French colony, gained its independence in 1960. The main language spoken is the indigenous language, Malagasy, with the educated population speaking French.
67.8% of the population in Madagascar lives below $1.25/day. Many children are unable to attend school due to lack of family funds and are unable to seek opportunities to break out of the cycle of malnutrition and poverty.

Mark your calendars - Giving Tuesday begins December 2nd! We're aiming to raise $1,000 for a new slide and swing set so every child has a safe place to play, grow, and imagine.

With 489 students in our Kindergarten and Elementary divisions and just one swing and slide set, many of these little ones spend recess waiting for a turn. This Giving Tuesday, we want to change that!
