June is when Ontario — and Cornwall — are recognizing the continuing contributions senior citizens make to their communities. Past President Diane Riley represented our club at a ribbon cutting ceremony at city hall on Friday.

At today’s information session on AI and Chat GPT the first question facilitator Tom Cooper asked was ‘what does AI stand for?’ Someone jokingly said ‘artificial insemination’ - well no that wasnt the correct answer ! Artificial Intelligence is fast becoming the way we search on line for answers to medical questions, help with writing emails, and composing graphic images with Chat GPT, ChatBox etc providing an interactive experience. Jane and Tom Cooper assisted participants in accessing information in seconds on Chat GPT for themselves and many left realizing that technology is changing our lives in such a rapid way.
