COHB Applications Opening June 8: The Canada-Ontario Housing Benefit is a portable, income-tested housing benefit paid directly to eligible renters. With limited funding available, this first-come, first-served program will be accepting applications starting June 8.

📌 Who is it for?
Households in core housing need (low income, paying high rent, or living in unsuitable housing)

📋 What you need to apply:
✅ ID and SIN for all household members
✅ Last 2 months of bank statements and income proof (e.g. paystubs)
✅ 2025 Notice of Assessment
✅ Rental agreement
✅ Void cheque or direct deposit form

📍 How to apply?
Pick up and drop off applications from the Human Services Department, 340 Pitt, 4th Floor. Applications will also be available online shortly - stay tuned!

Avec un financement limité, ce programme selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi acceptera les demandes à partir du 8 juin.

📌 À qui est‑ce destiné ?
Aux ménages en besoin impérieux de logement (faible revenu, loyer élevé ou logement inadéquat)

📋 Ce dont vous avez besoin pour faire une demande :
✅ Pièce d'identité et NAS de tous les membres du ménage
✅ Relevés bancaires et preuves de revenus des deux derniers mois (p. ex., bulletins de paie)
✅ Avis de cotisation 2025
✅ Contrat de location
✅ Formulaire de chèque annulé ou de dépôt direct

📍 Comment faire une demande?
Récupérez et déposez les formulaires auprès du Service des services humains, 340 Pitt, 4e étage. Les demandes seront également disponibles en ligne sous peu — restez à l’affût !
