Congratulations to our very own Janique Hutchison!!

UCSR OUTSTANDING WOMAN IN SNOWMOBILING.
Join us in congratulating SEAWAY VALLEY’s JANIQUE HUTCHISON!!!
Janique was brought into sled life 4 years ago, by her husband Will. That quickly turned into a deep commitment for the sport!!
She took over approximately 5kms of trail for Seaway. Janique is also a Certified Agriculture Mechanic, so her ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues has an invaluable!! That groomer has to keep rolling, no matter what!!
The Hutchison’s also added to their family in 2025, did that slow her down?? No it did not!!
Janique also helps the club with trail prep, and fundraising initiatives!!! We have even seen a wedding picture on their sleds!!!
Janique’s passion and willingness to contribute makes her an outstanding role model and a true ambassador for the snowmobiling community! Thank you for all you do!!!
Janique was unable to attend Saturday, accepting the award is Wayne McDonald. Presenting the award is UCSR secretary Julianne Bedard!

📢 Merch Orders are In! 👕

We've got boxes filled with fresh SVSA merch ready to go home to you! We will be reaching out to all those who purchased items today, so keep an eye out for a message from us.

Items can be picked up at our next club meeting on Monday, April 13th at the Cornwall Township Lion's Club (Bonville) between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. unless other arrangements are necessary.

Our club’s future depends on building a stronger team 💙

To ensure the longevity and sustainability of SVSA, we’re looking for more members to step into small, manageable roles within the club. By spreading out responsibilities, keeping each position to approximately 10–20 hours per year, we can make volunteering realistic and achievable for everyone.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

• South End Trail Coordinator
• Landowner Relations Representatives
– Martintown (position filled)
– St. Andrews
– Harrison’s Corners
– Additional areas (can be further divided if needed)
• Volunteer Recognition Coordinator
• Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator
• Trail Patrol Members
• Signage Auditor

Getting more people involved helps us build continuity, strengthen relationships, and ensure our trails remain open and maintained.

This is not just helpful… it is essential! Without additional support, it becomes increasingly difficult to guarantee a full and successful season.

We will also be discussing these opportunities at our AGM (Annual General Meeting) on Monday, April 13th. We encourage anyone interested in learning more or getting involved to come out and join the conversation.
