ANNUAL FATHER’S DAY BUBBA-Q 🍖
You’re invited to an afternoon of great food, family activities, and community connection at the Annual Father’s Day Bubba-Q hosted by Akwesasne Child & Family Services and Akwesasne Zero 2 Six! ☀️

📍 Location: A’nowara’ko:wa Arena (Pavillion)

There will be a raffle, backyard games, crafts, a hair workshop, and delicious BBQ chicken and ribs!

We welcome families of all ages to join us for an enjoyable afternoon of activities, good food, and celebrating the important role fathers and father figures have within our community. We look forward to seeing you there!

SONS OF TRADITION
Akwesasne Child & Family Services and community partners invite Akwesasró:non young men ages 13-18 to take part in Sons of Tradition, a four-day land-based cultural experience at Thompson Island Cultural Camp. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the land, learn about Haudenosaunee culture and traditions, and connect with others in a positive and supportive space.

🕒 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Daily transportation will be provided from both Adams Marina and Warden's Marina.

Akwesasne Child & Family Services - Community Support Unit has partnered with Safety Tree Canada to offer the Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course for youth ages 12–16 at Ahkwesahsne Mohawk School (AMS).

Looking for a great way for youth to build confidence, responsibility, and valuable life skills?

As part of the Women's Wellness Series, Akwesasne Child & Family Services' Traditional Support Team and Iakwa'shatste Youth Fitness invite women ages 18+ to join us for a day of basket making, cultural learning, and community connection. Led by Gary Thompson, participants will create their own tote basket while enjoying a welcoming space to relax, learn, and connect with others.

• How to change a flat tire
• Tips to help young drivers feel more confident behind the wheel
• How to recognize and avoid common car garage scams
• The basics of regular car maintenance
