Busy week for our staff! Packing up backpacks to support our community and a special Skills Lab activity on Wednesday afternoon: Basic Car Maintenance! No registration required, just show up at the parking lot of Vine Place to join in!

We are proud to donate $350 to Vine Place Community Centre in support of their Stuff the Backpacks initiative last Thursday, August 20 at the Staples Parking Lot! 🎒📚✏️

A huge THANK YOU to Vine Place Community Centre for organizing the Stuff the Backpacks initiative and giving local businesses and community members an opportunity to help students start the school year prepared! 🎒📚

We’re incredibly grateful to every student who registered with Western Driving School and everyone who supported us, you helped make this donation possible!❤️

We hope initiatives like this inspire even more local businesses throughout Corner Brook to find their own ways to give back. When each of us contributes what we can, together we can make a much bigger difference. 🤝

Making this post each year makes us so incredibly proud. As in previous years, Speedy Glass Corner Brook pledged a portion of our sales to Stuff the Backpack 2026, hosted by the wonderful crew at Staples Murphy Square.

And because YOU CHOSE US, we were able to contribute an incredible $860 towards school supplies that will be distributed by our friends at Vine Place Community Centre, helping local kids head back to school with the tools they need to learn, grow, dream BIG, and discover who they want to become.
