Meet Your Provincial Coordinator! 🍋

Introducing the Provincial Coordinator for Youth Ventures Newfoundland and Labrador, Aaron Hull!

Aaron has been involved with the Youth Ventures program for quite some time. He began as a Youth Ventures Regional Coordinator at CBDC Emerald for two seasons, from 2020 to 2021. He then served as the program's Administrator and Venture Box Coordinator before becoming Provincial Coordinator.

We asked Aaron, “What do people need to know about Youth Ventures?”

He said, “I believe the best entrepreneurs seek support and use the resources available to them. As a young person starting a business, there is no better support available than the Youth Ventures program. Our priority is your business success!”

Ride in Style CBDC Humber

Launched in 2022 in Corner Brook, Ride in Style was founded by Gerald Targett to bring high-end transportation to Newfoundland’s west coast. From airport shuttles and tours to hunting trips and group travel, the company offers 24/7 service with a fleet of luxury vehicles, including a 36-passenger coach, designed for comfort in any weather.

To cover significant start-up costs, Gerald worked with CBDC Humber to secure a First-Time Entrepreneur Loan and access business counselling. Their support was instrumental not only in launching the business but in helping it grow.

Lancée à Corner Brook en 2022 par Gerald Targett, l’entreprise Ride in Style propose des services de transport haut de gamme sur la côte ouest de Terre-Neuve. Des navettes aéroportuaires aux visites guidées, en passant par les voyages de chasse et les déplacements de groupes, elle offre un service 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7 avec une flotte de véhicules de luxe, dont un autocar de 36 places, qui vise à assurer confort et fiabilité en toute saison.

Pour couvrir les coûts de démarrage importants, Gerald a travaillé avec la CBDC Humber afin d’obtenir un Prêt nouvel entrepreneur et de recevoir des conseils pour son entreprise. Ce soutien a été déterminant non seulement pour le lancement de l’entreprise, mais aussi pour sa croissance.
