Hey friends! Robyn here and it’s been a minute! I needed to take some time to clear my mind of some intense burn out. If you’re experiencing burn out or are going in that direction, please take extra care. If you want to connect, feel free to reach out! The hardest lesson of it all for me was learning to put myself first. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to reflect and create more clarity and intention. The fashion industry is relentless and authenticity takes time. Excited to share more of this journey with you! 🌸

We’re playing it pretty safe this season as sooo many of our friends in this space are also feeling the pinch of a slowed economy (see story for example). This summer feels like a good time to chill out after the last three years of survival mode. We hope you’re all getting outside and having fun!!! A friend gave me some good advice recently, she said “do things that feel good”. Sounds simple, but if you’re used to putting everything and everyone else first it’s pretty hard to figure out what makes you happy. These dresses are for kicking it!! We launched a small collection on Abel.ca!! Really proud to say we’ve almost used up all our fabrics with no waste! Some scraps have been sent out and it feels really good! Starting fresh with our new Ruth Blouse with bow-tie closures! Available with 4 or 5 bow options! This blouse feels perfect in the hot weather because of the light weight fabrics and air flow ;) Could not have had a better time with / and .z6 !! Thank you so much to you both!! Check out our stories for bts soon! And big Thank you to all of you for being patient with us!! It’s been a tricky balance with new clients on board and we’ve loved every minute of that work too so we hope to keep doing both and excited to share more updates and behind the scenes with you all soon Xx Abel Wear
