One of our traditions at BMBA is to acknowledge 2 campers of the week. These campers are grade 9 campers who not only have strong basketball skills, work hard at camp, they also show leadership and are a positive influence on the camp. This year we had an amazing group of gr. 9 students. There was quite a bit of debate on who should be nominated as the campers of the week. But in the end both of these campers had a standout moment that made them the BMBA Camper of the Week!

One of the favourite competitions we run at BMBA is the 3v3 tournament. Campers are divided into 3v3 teams, with 3 divisions gr 4 and 5, 6 and 7, 8 and 9.
They play games all week with some adjustments made to make sure the teams are fairly balanced. Friday the campers participate in the 3v3 final bracket. There were a lot of close games with some great competition. Congratulations to these campers for winning their division in 3v3🏀

Jersey day was a huge success! Lots of great jerseys! It was amazing to see so many Collingwood Trailblazers jerseys! Today was full of sun and basketball! Everything from ball handling, foul shooting, 3v3 and full court games, and of course puppy snuggles. We also would like to thank PJ Kings for coming to camp and sharing his knowledge with the campers teaching them some different finishing drills that can be done at home in the drive way! Practice makes perfect and of course,
