🎉 What a night! 🎂

Yesterday, Collingwood Toastmasters celebrated 45 years of helping people find their voice, and we did it in style. 😎

The evening featured awards recognizing member achievements, birthday cake worthy of a 45th anniversary, Table Topics pulled from popped balloons (because picking topics from a hat is apparently too easy after 45 years), and a hilarious round of the "And Then..." storytelling game that proved our members and guests are creative, quick-thinking, and occasionally delightfully unpredictable.

Most importantly, we celebrated the people who have made our club such a welcoming and supportive community over the years! Thank you all! 🙏

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special milestone. Here's to 45 years of speeches, laughter, leadership, friendship, and many more stories that start with "And then..."

🎉 Collingwood Toastmasters turns 45 today! 🎉

That's 45 years of speeches, evaluations, Table Topics, nervous first timers, confident communicators, and the occasional speaker discovering halfway through a speech what the speech was actually about.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone at a meeting today, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Collingwood Public Library (3rd floor meeting room).

Democracy was alive and well at Collingwood Toastmasters last night! 🎉

After a highly sophisticated election process involving nominations, "chocolate with quote" Table Topics, and a speech, we proudly elected our 2026–2027 Club Executive Team.

Beginning July 1, our newly elected officers will take the helm for the next Toastmasters year, helping guide our club through another year of speeches, evaluations, leadership growth, and occasional battles with the Ah-Counter. Toastmasters club officer terms run from July 1 to June 30 each year.

Congratulations to our new executive team! We wish them courage, wisdom, and the ability to answer unexpected Table Topics questions without breaking a sweat.
