Im not just teaching yoga - I’m teaching them:

You don’t know you can’t do it until you’ve tried.

And sometimes, you don’t know you can do it until you practice.

The first time we sit quietly, it might feel impossible.
The first meditation might last 10 seconds.
The first time we notice our breath, it might feel strange.

But we practice.

We breathe.
We get still.
We try again.

And slowly, they begin to realize:
“I can do hard things.”

That’s what yoga + mindfulness can teach us.

Not just how to move our bodies —
but how to believe in ourselves. 🤍

🎈 We’re so excited to welcome Katie to our Summer Camp Team! 🎈

Katie brings a deep and meaningful wealth of experience to this space—she is a mother, birth doula who has been working with children for over 20 years. 🙏🏼

Her journey includes supporting youth as a tutor and mentor in a northern Indigenous community, as well as running her own home childcare program. This lived experience speaks to a long-standing dedication to caring for, guiding, and showing up for young people in grounded and authentic ways. ✨

Katie’s approach is a strong belief that connection and presence are essential to how children grow, learn, and build trust. This aligns beautifully with the values of our camp, where environments are safe and meaningful ❤️

We can already tell you’re going to bring something unique and meaningful to this space. Your presence, your ideas, and your energy!

We can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make—not just on the campers, but on the whole team ☺️

Get ready for a summer full of connection, creativity, growth, and a whole lot of fun 🤩
