Age Friendly is excited to welcome all three Guardian Drug Stores in Cold Lake as new sponsors of Age Friendly! Thank you for supporting under-served seniors and caregivers in our community!

You can now pick up our 4x4 information cards featuring six of Age Friendly’s key services and programs at the Pharmacy counter in the Guardian Drug Store at Tri City Mall.

We’re grateful for your partnership and for strengthening the supports available to seniors and caregivers in Cold Lake.

Age Friendly was delighted to host its very first High Tea Social, and what a smashing success it proved to be. Guests were welcomed into an afternoon of grace, warmth, and good company, all whilst we proudly showcased the heartfelt work of the Compassionate Dementia Inclusive Communities Project and our cherished partner.

Our guests were treated to the most exquisite array of delicate sandwiches, including a beautifully prepared Coronation Chicken, alongside decadent desserts that were nothing short of delightful. Carol and her devoted kitchen helpers created a spread that transformed the afternoon into a momentous occasion, one that shall not soon be forgotten.

To our volunteers and servers: your service was impeccable, your kindness unmistakable, and your efforts deeply appreciated. You made the day shine.

And a special note of gratitude to Trish, our Volunteer Coordinator, whose vision for this gathering came to life in the most magical and memorable way.
