We are absolutely thrilled to extend a huge thank you to and Cochrane FCSS & FRN for their incredible generosity in providing CSHO with a $13,000 grant. This funding will play a vital role in helping us continue to provide affordable housing options to those in need in Cochrane. Thank you again for your support!

Cochrane is changing — and our population is aging faster than ever. The 2020 Housing Needs Assessment projected dramatic growth between 2016 and 2046:

👵 Ages 65–74: +195%
👴 Ages 75–84: +316%
💙 Ages 85+: +329%

This shift highlights the urgent need for age-friendly, accessible, and supportive housing so seniors can remain active, connected, and secure in their community.

Too often, affordable housing is seen as something for “others.” The truth? It touches lives we all know — friends, neighbours, coworkers, and family.
