What a great day at the Canine Competition! 🐾

With 3 Juniors, 10 Intermediates, and 10 Seniors competing, the boys represented our club incredibly well.

🐕 Nicolas earned 4th place in Showmanship and 4th place in Agility, tied for 6th in Advanced Obedience, was Runner-Up in the Costume Class, and was also presented with his 4-H Bronze Medal for achieving his first 4-H diary points milestone.

🐕 Felix placed 3rd in Showmanship and 2nd in Junior Agility, earning a spot in the Supreme Class. He also completed part of the Advanced Obedience course.

We're incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training these two have put into their dogs this year. Congratulations to all the competitors and volunteers who made it such a great event! 🏅🐶💚

Nicolas and Felix also took 4th and 5th in the photo contest. They participated in the leather worskshop, cupcake decorating. Nicolas competed in consumer decision making and multi judging where his dog was one of the participating canines being compared.
Helped clean and shine saddles, bridles and boots for equine members.

🐴💎 What a weekend for our Equine Project members at 4-H on Parade! 💎🐴

The Bottrel Outlaws had an incredible weekend, both in and out of the show ring. Along with bringing home the Stall Decorating Contest banner for our Denim & Diamonds display, our riders represented our club with hard work, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the event.

✨ Kennedy & KitKat received High Point.
✨ Sawyer & Charlie earned Reserve High Point.
✨ Annie & Micky took on a very competitive group of exhibitors and continued to build their skills and experience in the ring.
✨ We are proud of all of our riders for their dedication, positive attitudes, and support of one another throughout the weekend.

4-H is about so much more than ribbons—it’s about learning, growing, and making memories along the way. Congratulations to all of our equine members on a fantastic year and a successful 4-H on Parade!

A very special congratulations to Sawyer, who won Junior Presentations and is now advancing to Districts on Saturday the 7th! 🎉🏆

Public speaking takes courage, preparation, and heart — and they showed all three. Watching our members grow in confidence and leadership is what 4-H is all about.

🌟 Bottrel Outlaws 4H Communication Event – What a Day! 🌟

We are so proud of our members for an incredible Communication Event this year — especially as our very first year hosting! Watching our kids stand up, share their ideas, and speak with confidence was such a highlight.

A huge thank you to our wonderful judges — Jess, Fay, and Bonda — for giving their time, thoughtful feedback, and encouragement to our members. We are so grateful for your support of our club and our youth.

Thank you as well to Unique Soapstone Experiences and 4H mom Isabel for generously donating beautiful judges’ gifts — your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed. 💚

We’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to Cochrane Toyota for allowing us to use their community room for the event. Having such a welcoming local space made the day run smoothly and helped create a great experience for our members.

We are thrilled to share that 4 out of our 5 competitors are advancing to the Area level on March 1! What an accomplishment! We can’t wait to cheer them on as they represent our club.

To all of our speakers — you showed courage, growth, and true 4H spirit. No matter the results, we are incredibly proud of each of you.

📣 Judges Needed – Bottrel Outlaws 4H Public Speaking 🍀

The Bottrel Outlaws 4H Multi Club is looking for a few volunteer judges for our upcoming Public Speaking Competition:

🗓 February 21
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Cochrane, AB

No prior 4H or judging experience is required — we provide guidelines and score sheets, and our goal is simply positive, constructive feedback for our members.

Our horse, dog, and duck project members have been working hard on their speeches and would love a supportive audience as they build confidence and leadership skills.
