Groomer Update – April 19, 2026

A big thank you to our grooming team for getting out today to freshen up the skate ski lane on Squirrelly Cut—perfect for squeezing in those final kilometres of the season! A classic track was also attempted, though conditions are a bit variable in spots due to icy patches.

While the team was out putting the grooming equipment away for the season, they took advantage of the colder-than-usual temperatures to leave us with some great late-season skate skiing.

If you’re heading out, we recommend skiing in the early mornings or later in the afternoon/evening to help preserve the trails and avoid sinking into the soft spring snow.

Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and patience this past winter. We look forward to welcoming you back next season!

Groomer Update – March 18, 2018

Our faithful grooming team was back out today putting in the work—dragging, packing, and smoothing the trails through drifting snow and our latest accumulation.

All trails were freshly groomed and tracked this afternoon, just in time for another 10 cm expected over the next few days! 🌨️

⚠️ Trail Note:
Please use caution on the hills along Foxy Lady—the tracker had a slight wobble with the amount of snow on those sections.

Overall, trails are in great condition and should be even easier to maintain with the fresh snow on the way. It’s shaping up to be a snowy spring, so there’s still lots of time to rack up those kilometers before the thaw… (maybe sometime in June 😄).

Snowshoe Update:
Only a couple of brave souls hit the snowshoe trails today, which means there’s plenty of untouched powder waiting for you—perfect for a great workout!

Ski you on the trails! ❄️ ❄️

Groomer Update – March 13, 2026

Our grooming team was out yesterday working hard to flatten and drag the trails after the nearly 8 inches of snow we received on Tuesday. After almost five hours of packing down all the trails, our groomers called it a day.

Thankfully, our groomer headed back out early this morning to set fresh tracks, just in time for our Pizza Night Ski & Snowshoe this evening — and ahead of the estimated 55 cm of snow expected this weekend!

A huge thank you to our volunteer grooming team for getting the trails ready for everyone to enjoy.

Please be patient with trail conditions next week if we get another snowmageddon ❄️

See you tonight for our Pizza Night Ski & Snowshoe! 🍕
