🎃👻 Spook-O is back! 👻🎃

Join us for a spooky (but not too spooky!) afternoon of Halloween orienteering at Sandy Beach Park!

🗓 Sunday, October 25
⏰ Start times from 1:00–3:00 pm
📍 Sandy Beach Park, Calgary

Grab a map, put on your costume and head out on a Halloween adventure through the park! Expect some exploring, some running (or walking!), spooky surprises and, of course, candy along the way.

Spook-O is for kids and families of all ages and abilities. No orienteering experience needed — we’ll help you get started!

👻 Bring a friend! Invite a neighbour, cousin, classmate or another family to come along and discover orienteering.

Important: All participating adults and children need to register for insurance purposes. Kids under 2 are free.

🎃 $7/person until October 24

🙋 We need volunteers too! It takes lots of helping hands to create a great Spook-O experience for the kids. We have a variety of jobs throughout the day, and teen volunteers are very welcome — a fun way to get some volunteer hours while being part of the Halloween action! Email [email protected] if you are keen to volunteer.

Great turnout by FWOC members at the Western Canadian Orienteering Championships near Enderby, BC, this past weekend!

Beautiful weather, great courses, interesting terrain, and the chance to race on brand-new maps made for a really lovely weekend of orienteering.

A big thank you to Sage Orienteering for hosting and putting on such a great weekend!
