Alberta Orienteering Association The Alberta Orienteering Association is the provincial body responsible for the organization and promotion of orienteering throughout Alberta.

es for all levels of ability. Aims and Objectives of the AOA
The AOA shall encourage, promote, and give leadership to the sport of orienteering

The AOA is a not-for-profit sport association. It is registered under the Alberta Societies Act. The Association was incorporated over 45 years ago. A board of directors, elected at the annual general meeting of the Association, controls association business. The functioning of the AOA office is under the direction of this Board. The Executive Director, who is an employee of the AOA, handles the day-to-day operations and supervision of the office.

Join the fun for an urban adventure — grab a map, find the checkpoints, and explore the city in a whole new way. We will help you get started. Just show up and be ready to go!
