Cochrane Lions Rodeo Volunteers Needed

Hi Everyone,

The 60th Annual Cochrane Lions Rodeo is just a few short days away, and we would love to have you be part of this incredible milestone!

This is a very special year for the Cochrane Lions Club, as we celebrate 60 years of the Lions Rodeo and everything this event represents, community, friendship, family, volunteering, and good old-fashioned rodeo excitement!

As the rodeo has grown over the years, so has the need for volunteers. We are looking for people who can lend a hand in a variety of areas to help make this year’s event a huge success.
Whether you can volunteer for a shift, help behind the scenes, or simply come out and enjoy the rodeo, we would love to see you!
The Lions motto is “We Serve,” and this event is a wonderful example of what can happen when our community comes together. We have an amazing group of volunteers and supporters, but we can always use more helping hands!

Cochrane Lions Club & Event Centre Trading Post Market

It takes a village to put on a great market, and we’re looking for some amazing **volunteers** to join us for our Trading Post Market! ❤️

We need help with things like:
✨ Vendor check-in and directing vendors
✨ Helping with setup and teardown
✨ Assisting throughout the market
✨ Keeping things organized and welcoming our shoppers
✨ Helping with small jobs wherever needed

Whether you can give us **a couple of hours or a whole day**, we would love to have you! Every hour makes a difference and helps us create a successful event for our vendors, shoppers and community.

Applications to become the next Cochrane Lions Rodeo Queen close in just ONE WEEK!

If you’ve dreamed of representing the Cochrane Lions Rodeo, this is your chance.

We’re looking for a young woman 18–24 years old who loves the western way of life, enjoys working with horses, and is confident speaking in public.

As Rodeo Queen, you’ll represent the Cochrane Lions Club, the annual Labour Day Rodeo, and the community of Cochrane.

Throughout the competition, you’ll showcase:

• horsemanship
• public speaking
• rodeo knowledge
• personality

This role is about so much more than wearing a crown — it’s about building lifelong friendships, growing your leadership skills, and representing one of Alberta’s premier rodeos at events across the province.
