Congratulations to all our swimmers of the month for July!!
Starting with our team Black swimmers of the, Mia and Nikhil!
Seeing Mia at the pool everyday determined to push herself is truly fantastic! This quiet, but ferocious swimmer came into the season struggling sometimes to keep up with her teammates, but by the end was best timing in so many of her distance events! It was her self-determination and hard work ethic that truly pushed Mia this season to excel!
Nikhil truly came into his own this season, and raced like her never has before! Nikhilโs ability to push himself and never complain is the reason why Nikhil has been able to excel so far this season! With a fourth place finish at Provincials in the 10 Fly this season, Nikhil has pushed himself to grow into a fantastic swimmer!
Our Orange team swimmers of the month for July are Marie and Pepper!
This season Marie has smashed out of her comfort zone. Choosing to push herself in some tough events. Marie went from having no time in 50 fly, to asking to compete in 100m fly at Regionals. She is believing in herself and working hard every single day! Congratulations Marie.
Pepper is in her first season of competitive swimming. She has worked so hard this season. She has learned all 4 strokes, swimming them all very well. Winning bronze in the 800m and the 100m fly at Regionals. More than that Pepper is just a fantastic, coachable kid. She is always listening, trying her best, taking in coach feedback. These are some of the reasons she has had such a successful first season. Congratulations Pepper!
For our Silver Group please congratulate Alexa and Adrian as swimmers of the month for July!!
Alexa is an absolutely incredible athlete! She has the self determination and drive to do what ever her mind wants! Alexa came into this swim season with very little swim experience, and came out being able to strongly swim all four strokes which is extremely impressive!
Adrianโs ability to listen and learn is something that should inspire all other athletes. He attends every single practice with a smile on his face, and the determination to get better! For the first time in his swim career, he was able to swim a sub-40 time in his 50 free because of his great attitude and drive to get faster!
Our Yellow Fins swimmers are Charlotte and Khloe.
Both have been working hard all season pushing for best time after best time. Their grit and hard work is evident in every practice and race. Way to go you two!
Congratulations to Karis and Maddy in our Red Bellies group. Both have shown tremendous dedication this season. Showing up for practices and races with a smile and a ready-to-go attitude has been a pleasure to watch! Great work ladies!
Congratulations to all of our swimmers of the month!!
