On Saturday the Club had its 52nd Anniversary Charter Night.
President Lynn Agnew highlighted the Club’s accomplishments over the past year and recognized members for their years of service.

On Saturday night 2 special awards were presented:

Congratulations to Tiffany Fortier who was awarded Citizen of the Year!
The plaque was presented to Tiffany by Civitan Brenda Powers-Ross.

Congratulations to President Lynn who was awarded Civitan of the Year! The plaque was presented to President Lynn by Civitan Fred Laderoute.

The evening finished up with entertainment by Gillan Rutz.

From the Charitable Gaming Program funds received for Club members volunteer hours at the Delta Bingo & Gaming Centre a donation was made in early February to the Whitewater Region Public Library. This donation is to help support their programs and operations. Cheque accepted by Debbie McLaughlin.

Congratulations to Chris Maika, the winner of the Fishing Derby first prize - a 14 foot aliminum Princecraft boat and an 8 hp 4 stroke mercury motor 🎉

The beneficiaries of our Fishing Derby were: The Molly Penny (Ruth Cull) Endowment Fund at CHEO, Hospice Renfrew, First Step Options Pregnancy Resource Centre Pembroke and the Grind in Pembroke. Each organization received $5000.
