The town announced today that less than 400 people completed the town community satisfaction survey. Council members suggested that the low response was due to an overall satisfied community. Do you agree? Did you know the town was conducting a survey?

I created this page to highlight cool things in our community and I have a lot of awesome plans for this holiday season, but I felt the need to stop for a second and address the strike/lockout/whatever you wanna call it.

Today someone dropped this letter off at my house and it angered me because not only have the town employees been locked out for what, 2 months now? But the town is using MY TAXPAYER dollars to fund the ridiculous large billboard signs across town, and now paying someone to deliever these letters to each house in Coaldale.

I sympathize with both sides and understand that these issues are never as black and white as they appear, and there are truly 2 sides to the story.

But it feels really icky for the town to be sending letters and posting giant billboards attacking members of our community. I don’t like it, I think it’s wrong. Shame on you town of Coaldale.

Even if the town is in the right, this is not how you handle this situation. They should be rising above and setting an example, but instead it’s turned into a petty squabble of he said she said.

I would implore all citizens, to get out and vote tonight. Voting is important. You may not think so, but the best way to effect change in your community is to align yourself with government leaders who represent your values.

I voted Saturday night. It’s easy. All you need is your government issued ID with your Coaldale Address, and if you dont have that, a utility bill or letter from your landlord will do as well.

Get out and vote.

The election is coming up on Monday October 20. Here’s everything you need to know about where to vote and who the candidates are. Make sure you get out and vote!

Saw a surveyor out at the main intersection…are they finally getting ready to upgrade the lights in this intersection? It’s long overdue.

Also LOL at the music in the background, if it is new traffic lights then indeed hallelujah 🤣

Tried the dirty sodas at and they are great. Make sure to stop by and try one and support local!
