We just want to say a huge thank you to the communities of Lethbridge, Coaldale and Lethbridge County for all the support for this initiative. It means so much to us to have all the volunteers, donors, and advocates helping us get this pathway built.

We had our AGM this week and it’s so exciting to see all the progress we’ve made through the years bringing this dream to life. We look forward to the year ahead as we continue to work towards a complete pathway connecting Lethbridge and Coaldale through the county.

The Link Pathway has been shortened!

We would like to extend a massive thank you to the Bos family for helping us shorten the distance of the pathway by passing through your land (see the new line in red!). We, and the community, are so grateful for all your contributions, and for how much more accessible this will make the route!

For those of you that don't know, the Bos family has been a wonderful supporter of the project, and Bos Scapes has been responsible for all our landscaping services. This summer has been a successful one for the Link Pathway! If you haven't heard, here's some of the work that's been happening behind the scenes:

Spring, 2025 - Received grant for west end trail head (In production right now!)
May, 2025: Built the Coaldale Community Wellness Association picnic shelter
June, 2025 - Landscaping completed, Phase 1
May, 2025 - Signs, markers, donor recognition items, picnic tables, and benches ordered for Phase 1
May, 2025 - We capped our fundraising goal for the Highway 512 Tunnel and completed detailed engineering for for the underpass
Today - Completed all but final step of permitting from Alberta Transportation for Highway 512 underpass
Today - the Pathway has been shortened! Thanks to the generosity of the Bos Family for letting us pass through your land!
