Our 10th annual Butterfly Release plans were thwarted by the rain, but that didn’t stop us from experiencing the magic of the day!

Families and loved ones were invited to pick up their butterflies to release them at home. Meanwhile, the nurses at the hospice residence got to share some sweet moments with the butterflies they released in our flower beds.

Due to unpredictable weather and wet grounds, we have had to cancel this year's annual Huron Hospice Commemorative Butterfly Release. Those people who ordered a butterfly can pick it up before 4 pm today and release it at a location that is memorable to them when the rain stops. Did you know that we have so many birds on the Huron Hospice property that we need 3 volunteers to keep up with filling the feeders?! We are so lucky to have so much access to wildlife here.

Check out just a few of our outdoor friends that have dropped by for a visit this past week.
