Verbeeks is a business in Clinton, Ontario located on 22 Isaac St. They really believe that their eco friendly products will have a difference on the environment. Products such as pesticides from flowers, natural pest repellent, and compost accelerator. They have been “Selling for years.” and it's impossible to tell exactly how many of these products they have sold. They want more businesses to be using eco friendly products. The staff are very passionate about their eco friendly products and believe that if a business wants to grow and profit, they must use and provide these types of products.

Claussen Farms
Claussen Farms Custom Farming located in Brucefield, Ontario is reducing plastics in the agricultural field. Claussen Farms is using less plastic by getting DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) in 1000L totes. Once they are empty they are refilled and used again. Claussen Farms also reduces the amount of carbon by doing no-till or minimum-till practices instead of plowing. Claussen Farms does personal and custom spraying, they receive some chemicals in 1000L durable plastic totes that are used, giving back to the seller, washed, and reused for an endless amount of times. Claussen Farms buys oil in steel drums instead of using plastic pails for easier handling. Claussen Farms also receives their bigger seed quantities in very durable plastic Proboxes instead of paper bags that are lined with plastic. Once they are used they are returned to the seed seller, cleaned and refilled with seed.

Shopbike Coffee Roasters
Shop Bike coffee in Bayfield, ON is eco-friendly and working to make our world more plastic free. They are strong believers in not using plastic or styrofoam take out containers, so they use 70% decomposable and 30% compostable take out containers. In their community it’s important to them to use their town’s tap water instead of plastic bottles so they are working to eliminate them. They just recently installed a shampoo, conditioner and body wash refill station so people can bring in mason jars to fill up then take home. Lastly they offer coffee grounds compost pick up for gardeners in their community.
