The Food Bank has a large 2-glass-door commercial freezer that is currently not working, and we’re wondering if anyone may be interested in it, no charge of course.

It may be useful for parts, repair, shelving, storage, or another creative project. Please note that it is being offered as-is and will need to be picked up and hauled away by whoever takes it.

If you’re interested, please send us a message for more details or to arrange pickup. Please note: freezer must be removed whole. Buyer/taker is responsible for safe transport, repair, recycling, or disposal.

Thank you!

💖 Heartfelt Thanks to Our Amazing Community! 💖

The Clinton Food Bank Society is so grateful to everyone who came together to support our community!

A huge thank-you to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service, Melissa Painter, Clinton RCMP, and Dawson Road Maintenance for the First Responders Food Drive, raising $1,100 and 545 pounds of food — an incredible contribution to helping families facing food insecurity in Clinton. Thank you to all who volunteered and donated to this event. 🙏

From the December 5th Christmas in Clinton Late Night Shopping event, a big thank you to High Bar First Nation for donating the proceeds from their bannock and popcorn sales, and thank you to Angela Smith and Brett Hartnett for hosting free photos with Santa at the hall with a donation to the food bank.

It’s acts of kindness and thoughtfulness like these that make Clinton such a caring and supportive place. Your generosity helped make the season brighter for our community. Thank you for thinking of the food bank and for helping us continue to serve those in need. 🥰💛

A big thank-you to the BC Interior Community Foundation and the Kamloops Community Smart and Caring Fund for supporting the Clinton Food Bank with a $3,000 grant from the the BCICF Gaming Fund.

This funding helps us maintain and expand our cold-storage space so we can safely store more food and continue to support our neighbours facing food insecurity. We’re so very grateful for your generosity and commitment to small rural communities like ours.

💛 Thank you BC Interior Community Foundation

I want to send a huge Thank you to the kids/teens Trinitie, Noah, Addie, Silas, Bailey and Paige, for stepping up to help us at the FoodBank putting hampers together and load and unload stock. You are all showing your willingness not only to help those of us to pack and load the items but you are also helping the vulnerable in our community.
Keep it up!! It says a lot about who you are 🥰
Our thanks as well to Joe, Ned, Darrell, Jordan, Jim and Brian, and Melissa, for picking up stock whenever needed or your help with the heavier stock days, jumping in whenever needed without hesitation.
My apologies if I’ve missed anyone. There are many times people step up behind the scenes and without notice, and it is all so very much appreciated.
Thank you all so much 🥰
