EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTRE UPDATE:

As of noon today (September 8, 2026), and for the first time in two months, there will be no Evacuation Alerts or Orders in effect throughout the TNRDโ€™s jurisdiction.

Our EOC will remain activated to support the ongoing recovery and cleanup efforts across the region.

Here are the latest updates on available supports and hours of operation:
Resiliency Centre Hours - 1417 Kellow Lane, Village of Clinton
The Resiliency Centre, located at the Clinton Curling Club, is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 a.m.โ€“3:00 p.m., until September 24. This Centre is to support all people impacted by the Big Bar Complex wildfires.

Clinton Food Bank Hours - 1401 Dewdney Avenue
The Clinton food bank will be available:
Tuesdays: 3:00โ€“5:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 11:00 a.m.โ€“1:00 p.m.
These hours continue through the end of September.

TNRD Emergency Operations Centre:
We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed. Our EOC will operate mainly during regular business hours, with staff on standby 24/7 in case of any new emergency events.

โค๏ธ THE CLINTON WILDFIRE RECOVERY FUND WILL BE AT CLINTON STRONG

The Village of Clinton, in partnership with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, High Bar First Nation and Whispering Pines / Clinton Band, is bringing our community together this Saturday for the Clinton Strong event at Reg Conn Park.

๐ŸŽชThe Clinton Wildfire Recovery Fund will have a booth at the event, where you can learn more about the recovery fund, donate to support recovery, or apply for recovery support. We will be open 11:30 am until 5 pm on Saturday at the park.

๐——๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜†: We will have a donation box for cash and check donations and a donation QR code for online donations available for anyone who would like to support our neighbours as they recover. This Saturday is a chance to come together, reconnect and spend some time with neighbours, friends and family.

9:00โ€“11:00 a.m.
Clinton Memorial Hall

Then head over to Reg Conn Park starting at 11:30 a.m. for the Clinton Strong community event, with music, food and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

The day will also include a donation drive for the Clinton Wildfire Recovery Fund, administered through the Clinton Food Bank Society, supporting local residents and community recovery following the 2026 wildfire and evacuation.

Admission is FREE!
Come for breakfast, stay for the day, and join your community for Clinton Strong.
