We have dedicated executives moving on, we need some help! Nominations for the 2026/2027 Raft River Elementary School PAC Executive team is now open!

Positions such as Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary,Treasurer and Social Media are needed.

If we do not get volunteers to fill these roles this risks us losing our government funded grants!

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS FAIR -
JUNE 24TH

Good afternoon Raft families,

Please see attached a poster advertising our second Young Entrepreneurs Fair, hosted by grade 5/6 students in Mr. Donnelly's class. Students have been working hard to make a product of their choice and have completed market research. They are now ready to sell their products! All items range from $1-$5. Families are welcome to browse/shop from 10:30-12:45 pm on Wednesday June 24th.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR THE BREAKFAST PROGRAM

Please note that the last day for our Breakfast Program will be today, Friday June 19th. There will be no breakfast served next week, so please ensure your child eats at home before coming to school.

Thank you to Simone Volk, the breakfast coordinator and to all the volunteers who supported feeding the children this year.

FREE SUMMER COOKING PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yellowhead Community Services is hosting a free Summer Food Sense Program where families can cook, learn, and eat together!

The Details:
What: A fun, hands-on cooking and nutrition program.

When: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (July 29 – September 2).

Where: The Dutch Lake Community Center.

Cost: Free to attend (everyone is welcome, but youth ages 10–16 must bring an adult).

Transportation: Support is available if you need a ride!

Bike Train CONTINUES this week

Please see attached for information regarding this year's bike rodeo. If your child will be participating in the bike train to school, please meet at the Rotary Skate Park. You will need to sign a permission form prior to departing. Please note the permission form is not provided by the school as this is not a school-sanctioned event. A helmet is required to participate.
