💜 LET’S TALK ABOUT GRIEF, LOSS & PALLIATIVE CARE 💜

🗣️Because the more we talk about grief, the less alone people feel on their grief journey.

💜Following the wonderful response to our first Grief Literacy Education Day in Clare, Circles of Grief Society, in partnership with Grief Matters, is bringing this important conversation to Yarmouth!

🫂Join us on November 27, 2026, at the Mariners Centre, Rotary Room, for a meaningful day of learning, sharing, and understanding grief, loss, and palliative care.

💜The feedback from our Clare event speaks for itself. 💜

📣 ❗️Registration is already past the halfway mark, and spaces are limited! Don’t wait to register.

🫂Together, we can build a more compassionate community where grief is understood, conversations are welcomed, and no one feels they must grieve alone.

💜 Let’s normalize grief. Let’s keep the conversation going.

🙏Thank you for all the beautiful comments and kind words shared following the launch of our Wind Phone. Every comment has been read and truly appreciated. Your support means so much to us and reminds us of the power of community in supporting those who are grieving. 💙

💙 Sometimes, a single message reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 💜 The message shared was so encouraging and moving to read. Knowing that our Wind Phone is already helping someone connect with their grief in such a personal and meaningful way reminds us that this is so much more than a phone. It is a 🎁gift of love, remembrance, and healing from our community to everyone who needs it. 💙🙏

📌Following your many questions, yesterday, about ordering memory badges, we want to reassure everyone that the badges will continue to be available for purchase and can be ordered at any time.
📌However, the badges will be placed on the memory wall in batches. Our next batch will be placed before the end of November. After that, the memorial wall will remain closed to new placements until spring.

🙏Thank you for helping us honour loved ones and keep their memories alive. 🫂Together, we are creating a place where grief is welcomed, memories are cherished, and no one has to feel alone. 💙

❤️ Du fond du cœur, merci! ❤️

❤️🌿 TODAY, THE WIND PHONE BECOMES PART OF OUR COMMUNITY! 📞❤️

📆After more than a year and a half of dreaming, planning, and believing in this vision, today we celebrate the opening of the Circles of Grief Wind Phone at the Bangor Mill Museum.

❤️This is about so much more than the opening of a special place.
📞The Wind Phone is not just a Circles of Grief initiative. It is a gift to our community, a place for our community, and a symbol of our community’s commitment to supporting those who are grieving.

❤️Today, we invite our community to come together, not simply to witness the opening of the Wind Phone, but to embrace what it stands for.

📞This phone belongs to all of us because grief touches all of us. Its purpose is not just to honour those we have lost, but to remind those who remain that they are not alone.

🫂Let us continue to build a community where compassion is stronger than silence,
where remembrance is welcomed, and where supporting one another is simply what we do.

Because normalizing grief begins when we make room for it, together. ❤️

📌📆📞This Saturday, October 24, we invite you to join us for the official launching of the Circles of Grief Wind Phone at the Bangor Mill Museum in Clare, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

📞 The Wind Phone is more than a telephone. It is a symbol of love that continues, memories that never fade, and a community that stands beside those who grieve. It reminds us that grief has no timeline, no single path, and no boundaries. 💜

💜This gathering is about coming together to show that grief belongs in our conversations, our communities, and our lives. Because healing doesn’t mean forgetting, and we should never have to grieve alone.

📞The kiosk itself offers a gentle reminder that our community is here to support those who are grieving and will continue to support them.
It is a place where people can feel connected, to those they lost 💜

🎶 There will be live music, laughter, connection, and space for reflection. Because sadness and joy can exist together, even in grief.

❓Have you ever wondered how we, as a community, can better support those who are grieving?

💜The Circles of Grief Wind Phone is more than a phone. It is a symbol of love, remembrance, connection, and a community that says, “You do not have to grieve alone.”

💜We invite our community to come together to celebrate the opening of this special place and to stand together in our commitment to normalizing grief.

But this gathering is also about something beautiful: making room for joy while carrying grief. ❤️

Because music, laughter, friendship, and togetherness can coexist with sadness. We can remember those we miss, support one another, share stories, laugh, and enjoy the simple gift of being together. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is room for all of it.

🎶 Come and enjoy live music, delicious Rapûre for sale, for takeout , and memory badges available for purchase.

🪑 Dress warmly and bring your lawn chair! Bring a friend, and spend some time with us.

💜Let’s show those who are grieving that our community cares. 💜Let’s create a place where grief is welcomed, memories are honoured, and no one feels alone.

💜Come for the gathering.
🎼Stay for the music.
🫂Leave knowing that you are part of a community that cares.❤️

We hope to see you there.
🫂Together, we can help make grief a little less lonely.

💛 Honouring Our Loved Ones with memory badges💛

📌At the launch of our 📞Wind Phone on October 24, memory badges will be available to order for placement on our Memory Wall inside our Wind Phone kiosk, a special place to honour and remember those we hold close to our hearts.

📌To preserve and protect the badges, they will be mounted on the wall and covered with plexiglass. Because of this, badge orders will be accepted in specific ordering periods rather than on an ongoing basis.

📌Orders received at the launch will be included in the first group. Once the wall is sealed, any orders received after October 24 will be held for the next ordering period, when the wall can be reopened to add new badges.

Thank you to everyone who has chosen to honour their loved ones with us. Together, we are creating a beautiful reminder that although our loved ones may no longer be physically with us, they will always have a place in our hearts. 🕊️❤️

❤️Thank you for helping us create this lasting tribute to the people we love and carry in our hearts. ❤️

💜Grief does not follow a schedule, and love never ends.
