Western Shelburne County Health Care Charitable Society Our Mandate: To provide goods and services which will enhance health care for residents of the Municipality of Barrington and Town of Clark's Harbour.

We are a group of local ladies whose aim is to improve the health care in our area. To date we have purchased the following items:
1- Ambulatory blood pressure machine to be used in Barrington satellite clinic
2- Pain pump for VON
3- Defibrillator for Dr. Yee's office
4- EKG machine satellite clinic in Barrinton
5- Pulse oximeter for Community Health Center
6- Examination table for Community Healt

7- Bursaries for students interested in Health Care at BMHS
8- Support with Teen pregnancy programs
9- Support with Breakfast program
10- Transfer belts for VON
11- Spirometer for Community Health Centet

KIDS TRAVEL FUND

We still have funds available to help with transportation costs for families travelling to the IWK. We are a registered charity and can help kids in the Municipality of Barrington and Town of Clarks Harbour.  Though not a wealthy organization. we can contribute $100 for day trips and $300 if an overnight stay at a hotel is required. We have been around for a long time but just thought you might need to be reminded . All the best from all of us and stay safe traveling on these winter roads.
