🌟 July Rotary Recap 🌟

July was a great reminder that Rotary is about more than meetings. It’s about service, community, and celebrating one another’s successes.

💚 Vedder River Cleanup
Our members were proud to join the Chilliwack Huskers and other community volunteers to help clean up the Vedder River. Together we collected bags of litter while enjoying one of the most beautiful places in our community. A huge thank you to Craig MacQueen for organizing a fantastic BBQ afterward that gave everyone a chance to connect and celebrate a job well done.

Congratulations to Rotarian Keith Britz on scoring his first-ever hole-in-one! Even better, his incredible shot earned him the Men’s Night Progressive Hole-in-One Jackpot. What an unforgettable achievement. Congratulations, Keith!

Thank you to everyone who continues to make our club such a welcoming, hardworking, and community-minded group. We can’t wait to see what August has in store!

A few hours can make a lasting difference.

The Vedder River Trail is one of Chilliwack’s most loved outdoor spaces, and on Friday, July 10, we’re coming together to help keep it that way.

The Rotary Club of Chilliwack Mt. Cheam is partnering with Valley Huskers and MacQueen Systems for a community trail clean-up, and we’d love to have you join us.

Whether you can stay for the full evening or just part of it, every extra set of hands makes a difference. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your dog, and help us take care of a place that gives so much back to our community.

Details:
• Friday, July 10
• 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
• Meet at Vedder Park (by the bridge and dog park)

We’ll have litter pickers, bags, safety equipment, and sharps containers ready to go. Just wear closed-toe shoes, bring a pair of gloves and a water bottle, and we’ll take care of the rest.

And because no volunteer effort is complete without good food, burgers and drinks will be waiting after the cleanup.

No registration is required. Just show up and help make a visible impact in our community.
