Ey Swayel Sto:lo Chiefs, Council and Community Members
The modular is scheduled to arrive to lot 3 - 7201 Vedder Road on Coqualeetza Grounds the week of March 30th, 2026. It has been 19 years since Coqualeetza Cultural Ed Centre left the grounds but will be home again!
We are still fundraising - funding had to be secured through a loan agreement with TD Trust for $130,000.00 to assist with purchase price of the modular. Additional fundraising has been necessary to cover : the move from 2 storage units, 2 storage containers and office bldg 10; payment for utility connections such as BC Hydro, Fortis Gas, a plumber, an electrician; for the construction of a deck, two sets of stairs, a ramp and entrance covers, as well as much needed furniture, office equipment, supplies, filing cabinets, window coverings and much more.
