Tonight, we will be attending “ Purple Lights Night”. 💜

More than 50% of our Heather’s Hope Chest clients are fleeing domestic violence and starting over with very little. Purple is a reminder that they are not alone — and that our community is here to support them as they rebuild their lives, one step at a time. Please join us!

You may not know this, but behind the scenes at Heather’s Hope Chest, there’s a pretty important group of guys who help make things happen.

They’re our partners who jump in when we need some heavy lifting, hauling, moving, fixing — or just an extra set of hands.

We call them Soroptimisters. 💙

Today, a special shout-out to Drew, who spent HOURS checking donated appliances to make sure they were safe and ready for the Hope Chest.

Thank you so much Drew. And thank you to all of our Soroptimisters for everything you do behind the scenes. 💙

Our shelves and storage areas looked very different this morning than they do now!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to donate today. So many people arrived with bedding, kitchen items, towels, small appliances and more (even lamps) — and we are so excited for our clients to see all the incredible items waiting for them

These are some of the Chilliwack Soroptimist members who came out to help us with Donation Day — and believe me, we needed every single one of them!

There was a lot to unload, sort, organize and put away. It was a busy morning, and having so many helping hands made all the difference.
