Heather's Hope Chest is a free store for women and girls who are in transition and need household items.

Holly and I went to the Carman United Chilliwack Talent Show today. We had a lovely afternoon of great entertainment, and to top it all off… afterwards we were treated to my absolute favourite dessert: strawberry shortcake! 🍓🍰

This is Juli Hedin… she is one of the amazing team from Carman United Chilliwack that put on the Community Kitchen Shower for us. When we won the Western Canada Region Soroptimist award for the shower, I immediately contacted the UC team. Juli dropped by the donation day today so we got a photo of her with our lovely diamond trophy.

Thank you to the Chilliwack & District Seniors' Resources Society for invitation to speak at your DOWNSIZING event.

It was a great opportunity to share what we do, connect with members of the community, and show how items that are no longer needed can help someone else get a fresh start. We appreciated the opportunity to tell our story and meet so many lovely people who were interested in our work.

Thanks for including us in such a worthwhile event.

If you’re downsizing, please consider donating your gently used items for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom to Heather’s Hope Chest. We’ll make sure that your items will be carefully passed on to women and girls right here in our community.

HELLO? Your linen closet called. It’s tired of being stuffed with 10 extra towels, mystery pillowcases, and blankets nobody has touched since 2019.
